Our mandate is to create performances that reflect the human experience in all its complexity with honesty, compassion and humour.
Our work is inspired by a wide variety of theatrical styles, art forms and new media and is intended for a wide range of audiences.
We imagine this Canadian initiative evolving into a collective of individuals, artists and performing arts companies from around the world.
Through a global exchange of ideas and the collaborative process of making art our vision is to inspire new ways of thinking, working and creating.
Sparrow in the Room was founded by Robert Morgan, Edith Tankus and Anahita Azrahimi.
